Founder of 4M Design Group, Mark Tarmey, has been practicing Architecture for 40 years. After receiving his Masters of Architecture, with a specialization in Historic Preservation from the University of Florida in 1981, he attended Harvard University under an Interim Studies Grant. Mark taught as an Adjunct Professor of Architecture & Interior Design at Florida State University, has guest-lectured at the Preservation Institute Nantucket in Massachusettes, and has served as Past President and Treasurer of the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. He is a registered member of the AIA and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards [NCARB] and currently holds a Top Secret Security clearance with the Department of Defense. Mark has received many awards during his professional career, perhaps most notably, the North Florida Rotary Ethics in Business Award for his leadership and business approach.

Andrea (“Andi”) Heath holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Florida State University and has returned to college at the Master’s degree program to pursue her career goal of becoming an Architect. She has worked in the Architectural field with 4m Design Group for more than 12 years as the project coordinator. Her professional experience includes assembling construction documents for commercial and residential projects and significant involvement with the construction administration and management process. Andrea works closely with the clients and contractors to ensure the appropriate high quality standards that are the trademark of 4m Design Group. Andi also manages client communications and maintains written and verbal archives that insure desired project outcomes and positive project results. Andi is highly technically oriented and provides the core of our design research department enabling our design team to utilize the latest in approved products for any range of design applications.

James Delaney | Associate

Following graduation from High School, James Delaney pursued construction and immersed himself in multiple trades including framing, mechanical, electrical and plumbing. James became an expert fire sprinkler piping designer and installer. In 2003, he started developing his eventual career in 2D and 3D Computer Aided Design, Graphics and Modeling. He excelled in CAD, and rapidly developed a reputation for highly accurate drawings with focused delivery of required project information. With his command of commercial construction and the associated trades, he is able to provide expert direction to permitting officials and contract trade personnel. His work makes the production of design and construction documentation at 4M Design Group clear and concise.

Stephen C. Abrams | Associate

Stephen Abrams comes to 4m Design Group following a 30 year career in his own firm and as a former Vice President and Partner with a large South Florida based nationally recognized architectural firm. Stephen has extensive experience in projects ranging from $2-250 million in the Mixed-use, Hospitality, mid and high–rise development sectors that are a core part of our emerging market strategy as the U.S. economy continues its rebound and recovery. He is a seasoned designer who understands the importance of place-making on a variety of scales; from small to grand. Stephen is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Design, Planning and Construction in 1974, with a Master’s degree from University of Miami in 1976. Stephen he brings his extensive and elegant portfolio of work and insightful client relations skills to augment the principal leadership team at 4m Design Group.

Bill Warinner, AIA | Associate
NCARB Senior Project Architect

 

Bill Warinner is a licensed Architect who has thirty-five years of experience working in solo practice and in several regional architectural firms. He graduated with a Bachelor of from the University of Florida in 1972 and completed his Masters of Architecture with specialized Studies in Historic Preservation there in 1974. Mr. Warinner has designed and managed numerous projects throughout North Central Florida and South Georgia. His primary responsibilities at 4M Design Group, P.A. is as a Project Architect/Project Manager and Director of the Gainesville Studio. His project responsibilities include design, design review, programming, production of construction documents and specifications, and construction administration. Bill is the State Director and Chairperson of the prestigious Historic Resources Committee for the Florida Association of the American Institute of Architects, and is a Trustee of Art in Public Spaces Trust as well as a Trustee of the Florida Trust for Historic Preservation. Bill is Past President, and current Member of Historic Gainesville, Inc.
